Most MBE/WBE consulting firms quote $3,000 to $7,500 for the same NYC SBS filing we charge $795 for. That gap is real, and it's almost entirely middlemen — sales reps, multiple handoffs, account managers who don't touch your application. We removed those.

Hari Gurusamy, the founder, went through the certification process himself in 2018 — 14 months, three rounds of supplemental document requests, $0 spent on consultants because none of the options at the time felt honest about what the work actually entailed.
The lesson from that experience: the procurement paperwork market is structured around middlemen who profit from the complexity. The actual work of filing an MBE application — document review, narrative drafting, agency follow-up — is bounded. Some of it (rule-checking, document validation) is now well-suited to AI. Some of it (judgment calls on ownership structure, navigating supplemental requests) still needs an experienced human.

Are there any hidden fees?
No. NYC SBS charges $0 for MBE/WBE certification. Federal programs may have nominal fees (typically $25-200) that we pass through at cost with a receipt — you can verify against the agency website.
What if my application is rejected after I use Done-For-You?
We work the supplemental request and re-file at no additional charge. If NYC SBS issues a final rejection and the cause was an error on our part (not a structural issue we flagged at intake), we refund 100%.
Can I upgrade from Verify to Done-For-You?
Yes. Buy Verify, get your report, and if you want us to file for you we credit the $149 toward the $795 tier. Effective $646 net for the upgrade. Just reply to your Verify report email.
Can I cancel the Pipeline Subscription?
Anytime, no questions asked. First 14 days are free — we waive your first invoice if you cancel before day 14. After that you can cancel from your Stripe customer portal or reply to any Pipeline email with "cancel" and we handle it.
Is the AI Verify review reliable enough to file from?
It's reliable for catching the 7 most common rejection patterns we've identified. For straightforward applications, the AI report is enough. For applications with ownership complexity, prior business changes, or multi-owner structures, the AI will flag yellow and explicitly recommend upgrading to Done-For-You. This is honest by design — we don't want you filing on a green light from an AI when a human review would catch a structural issue.
